Yuriko is a small-batch bakery in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, created from a lifelong love of baking and a passion for sharing delicious food with the community.
Originally from Thailand, I have called Tuscaloosa home for the past 16 years. My love for baking began with my mother, who sold homemade desserts and passed down her passion, knowledge, and love of food to me. Over the years, I continued to develop my skills through professional baking classes and hands-on experience.
At Yuriko, I combine the flavors and traditions I grew up with in Thailand with Japanese-inspired techniques and modern baking methods. Each item is made in small batches with carefully selected ingredients, focusing on beautiful presentation, balanced sweetness, and exceptional texture.
